Enhancing Ocean Consciousness: UDA Framework for Young India
Join us on World Environment Day for an engaging online workshop dedicated to fostering enhanced ocean consciousness and effective maritime governance among the youth of India. Scheduled for June 5th, 2024, at 1600 hrs, this workshop aims to introduce the Underwater Domain Awareness (UDA) initiative, showcasing innovative projects spearheaded by the Maritime Research Centre (MRC) under the UDA framework.
Participants, including MRC interns and fellows, will have the unique opportunity to interact with leading domain experts, industry representatives, research scientists, professionals, start-up mentors, and policymakers. This event is designed to provide broad exposure to the cutting-edge efforts driving sustainable maritime practices and to inspire the next generation of ocean-conscious leaders. Join us to explore the vast opportunities within the UDA framework and to contribute to a sustainable future in the new global era.
UDA Framework
The figure gives a comprehensive way forward for the stakeholders to engage and interact. It will enable more focused approach and well defined interactive framework. Multi-disciplinary and multifunctional entities can interact and contribute, to seamlessly synergize their efforts towards a larger goal. The proposed UDA framework encourages pooling of resources and synergizing of efforts across the stakeholders towards safe, secure, sustainable growth for all.
