Capt Sudhir Subedhar

Capt. Subedhar’s professional qualifications include Extra Master, B.Sc. (Marine Tech), and commendation at Sir John Cass School of Science and Technology, London. He served as a deck officer and sailing Master with SCI and Anglo Eastern Co from 1968-1982 and subsequently as Supdt in SCI Mumbai and Anglo Eastern Hong Kong in 1982-1989. He was a Technical officer of IMO and Dept. of Transport UK, in charge of developing STCW 1995 amendments, ISM code, pollution prevention measures, and examination of Masters and Mates between 1989 and 1996. Subsequently, he served as OSD at DG Shipping 1998-2000 for STCW 95 implementation, ISM and auditing. He has served as Ex Director of Ocean Sparkle Group of Companies Hyderabad and of Indian National Ship Owners Association from 2012-2013. He is the former CEO and President of Indian Coastal Conference Shipping Association (ICCSA), Member Academic Council Tolani Maritime College, Pune, and Warden, Mentor and ex founder President Company of Master Mariners, Pune.
